Dr. Strickland, a Columbus, GA native, has been dedicated to the field of dentistry since the age of 17. After discovering her passion while working in a dental office, she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the Medical College of Georgia in 1997. With over 23 years in private practice, Dr. Strickland leads Whole Tree Dentistry, offering general dentistry with a focus on a whole-body oral systemic approach, including Dental Sleep Medicine.
Dr. Strickland is deeply committed to her profession and holds memberships in the American Dental Association (ADA), the Georgia Dental Association (GDA), International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology, American Academy of Ozonotherapy, and the American Academy for Oral Systemic Health (AAOSH). She is also a Diplomate with the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine (ABDSM), and a VIVOS Integrated Practice (VIP).
Outside of her practice, Dr. Strickland has been married to her high school sweetheart for over 39 years. She is the proud mother of three sons, a daughter-in-law, and 2 cherished granddaughters. Active in her faith, she leads a Ladies' Bible Study group, "Soul Sisters," at her church.
Dr. Bassett, a native of Columbus, GA, graduated from Hardaway High School in 2001. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Georgia in 2005 and continued her education at the University of Florida, where she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) in 2010. Following her graduation, Dr. Bassett returned to her hometown and has been practicing dentistry alongside Dr. Strickland since 2010.
She is a member of the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, Western Dental Society, American Academy of Oral Systemic Health, International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology, American Academy of Ozonotherapy, and a VIVOS Integrated Practice (VIP). Committed to her community, Dr. Bassett also dedicates her time as a sustaining member of the Junior League of Columbus.
Outside of her dental practice, Dr. Bassett enjoys a fulfilling personal life. She and her husband, Sam, are proud parents to two children, Ellie and Will, and share their home with their Labrador retriever Banks. Dr. Bassett loves spending time outdoors, going to the beach, watching her children participate in sports, and cheering on the University of Georgia football team. Her family is actively involved in St. Anne Catholic Church.
